Panic room for singing star Enya

Irish singing star Enya had a narrow escape from a stalker who broke into her supposedly secure castle close to Dublin recently, it has emerged.

She is said to have locked herself in a "panic room" and activated a panic button after discovering that an intruder had entered.

The man, who tied up a maid during the two-hour incident, left before police arrived.

No arrest has been made.
