Two men in Britain are being hunted after a 4-year-old girl was left dying in the road after being mown down in a hit-and-run, as her mother revealed the child died in her arms.
Violet Grace Youens was walking with grandmother Angela French, 55, when the pair were hit by a stolen Ford Fiesta that crashed into a lamppost in St Helens, Merseyside, the Daily Telegraph reports.
Her mother, Rebecca Youens, posted on Facebook to share the news that her "little fighter" died in hospital on yesterday after the incident on Saturday NZT.
Her emotional post also revealed her daughter has saved two lives by donating her pancreas and kidneys.
Youens said: "My beautiful baby girl passed away in my arms. Thank you for all your well wishes. She was just too poorly.
