Oscar Pistorius has reportedly been released on house arrest less than one year after he was jailed for killing his girlfriend.
The BBC reports he is expected to spend the remainder of his five year sentence at his uncle's home in Pretoria, South Africa.
The Olympic and Paralympic athlete shot girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp through a locked bathroom door but said he thought she was an intruder.
Pistorius was found guilty of culpable homicide in October last year.
An appeal lodged by the prosecution is due to be heard in November. Prosecutors believe Pistorius should have been convicted of murder.
