Bin Laden's three widows and two of his daughters have been convicted of illegally entering and living in Pakistan.
The family who have been in detention since May last year when US commandos killed the Al Qaeda chief in his Abbottabad house were sentenced to 45 days in prison and fined the equivalent of £71. They will serve another two weeks and with the children will be deported to their home countries.
Two of the widows are Saudi and one is Yemeni and it is unclear whether either country will consent to their return. Saudi Arabia had stripped Bin Laden of his citizenship in 1994.
After leaving Afghanistan he spent nine years on the run in Pakistan, where he lived in five safe houses and fathered four children two of them born in government hospitals.
