Only two left in Nauru detention

All but two of the 27 asylum-seekers on Nauru will be brought to Australia.


So far, half have been granted refugee status.


Rights advocates said it marked the end of the Government's Pacific Solution of avoiding processing asylum-seekers in Australia.


Immigration Minister Amanda Vanstone said Nauru had been essential in cutting the flow of illegal arrivals and the detention centre would remain available.
