KEY POINTS:
Prosecutors in the case against OJ Simpson have filed eight charges against the former American football star, including kidnapping.
Simpson was arrested and held without bail on Sunday US-time, after allegedly being involved in an armed robbery in Las Vegas.
He was charged on suspicion of assault and robbery with a deadly weapon. New court documents have added kidnapping and consipracy to commit kidnapping.
He is still being held and will be arraigned on Wednesday (local time).
