Burglars ransacked the Kuala Lumpur offices of lawyers representing Christians fighting for the right to use the word "Allah" to refer to God in Muslim-majority Malaysia.
Lawyer S Selvarajah said several locks and steel grill doors to enter second and third-floor offices were cut and drawers ransacked.
A laptop was missing.
A mobile phone service provider's shop and tuition centre on the first floor were not broken into, he said.
