United States President-elect Barack Obama's Hawaiian holiday was darkened for 11 hours when a power cut struck the island of Oahu.
Obama, wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha are staying in a US$9 million ($15.9 million), five-bedroom oceanfront house near downtown Honolulu.
His spokesman Ben LaBolt said power to the compound went out on Saturday.
Obama's power was restored yesterday.
