KEY POINTS:
New Zealanders travelling to Britain are being warned to be extra vigilant after two failed car bombings in London and an attack on Glasgow Airport.
UK police said Friday's car bomb attempts and this morning's Glasgow attack - in which a burning jeep was driven into the airport terminal - were linked and being treated as terrorist incidents.
The UK Government placed Britain on "critical" alert after following the latest incident. The security rating is the Home Office's highest and indicates an attack is expected imminently.
