A New Zealand-born Australian man has been arrested in Indonesia after police allegedly caught him carrying five packets of cocaine.
Angus McCaskill, 57, was arrested at Pepito Supermarket, near an airport in the south of Bali last week, 3 News reported tonight.
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs said McCaskill was an Australian who has been a long-term resident in Bali, but it was thought he was born in New Zealand and educated in Gisborne.
The Australian Consulate-General in Bali was providing him with consular assistance.
Police in Bali said they had not yet charged McCaskill with an offence.
