The Victorian man who got stuck in a washing machine while naked has put his own spin on the tale, saying his rescue felt similar to being born.
Emergency services were called to the 20-year-old's Mooroopna home on Saturday afternoon after he got wedged in his top-loader during a game of hide and seek with his girlfriend.
The man, "Laurence'', told Fairfax Radio his girlfriend called emergency services.
Nearly all the emergency services including local police, firefighters, paramedics, SES and Shepparton Search and Rescue Squad arrived to assist in the rescue.
"Only three or four people actually helped, about 10 or 12 just stood back and said `God I haven't seen this in 30 years','' he said.
