NEW YORK (AP) A federal judge says he may consider using two juries simultaneously at an embassy bombings trial in New York.
The 1998 bombings at U.S. embassies in Africa killed 224 people, including a dozen Americans.
Two defendants were extradited from Britain. The third was snatched off the streets of Tripoli and brought to New York.
At a hearing Thursday, U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan set a Nov. 3 trial date.
A defense lawyer complained that prosecutors might introduce evidence making it seem the men were partially responsible for the "age of terrorism."
