North Korea train test runs off-track

North Korea yesterday abruptly cancelled groundbreaking test runs of trains across its border with South Korea, citing an atmosphere of confrontation and war.

The tests along rebuilt railroads would have been the first time that trains crossed the border in more than a half-century.
