Irish singer and TV talent show judge Brian McFadden will not be charged over an incident on board an international flight.
McFadden, who is a judge on Australia's Got Talent and is engaged to Australian singer Delta Goodrem, was reportedly drinking heavily and smoking on a Virgin Australia flight from Los Angeles.
The former Westlife singer was travelling with fellow television judge and radio announcer Kyle Sandilands, who had to restrain him when he allegedly abused cabin crew and other passengers, 3AW reported.
An Australian Federal Police spokeswoman said police had spoken to two men when the plane landed in Sydney but the airline laid no formal complaint and the men were released without being charged.
