New footage shows Dan Bilzerian returning to the scene of the Las Vegas shooting and asking a police officer for his weapon so he can fight back.
The "King of Instagram" was slammed after a video released immediately after Sunday's attack featured him running away from the gun rampage, in which 58 died.
But the latest clip shows him coming back to the scene and begging a police officer for a weapon so he can shoot back at gunman Stephen Paddock, 64, reports Daily Mail.
The video emerged as Bilzerian dubbed Dakota Meyer a 'retard' after the Medal of Honor winner called him a "coward" for running.
In the new video, Bilzerian shows the officer his gun licence, but the cop tells him to go away as bursts of automatic gunfire go off in the distance.
The policeman, who is crouching behind a barrier, shouts: "No, get the f*** away from me right now, I don't know who the f*** you are."
The social media star was criticized for the earlier video, which showed him fleeing the Route 91 Harvest Festival, where he claimed he had seen a girl "shot in the head".
"Holy f***, a girl just got shot in the f***ing head," he says, as he runs away. "This is so f***ing crazy."
The professional poker player's actions were criticized by Marine Corps veteran Meyer.
He accused the social media personality, who tried and failed to become a Navy SEAL, of being a coward.
"This is what kills me about people like you," Meyer wrote on Instagram, tagging Bilzerian, early on Monday morning.
"Always playing "operator dress up" and so, so tough when the cameras are on.
"A woman just got shot in the head and you are running away filming that's not what operators do. Please stop trying to be someone you're not.
"People are dying, you're running away not helping them and pretending it's worthy of a video is disgusting.
"This is why children shouldn't classify heroes by their followers or their photos."
Bilzerian has since hit back at the veteran, saying: "So I wake up this morning and the news is talking s*** saying some Marine was saying that I was a p**** for running away and that I should have stood my ground when the guy was shooting at me with a machine gun.
"So, I mean if we follow that retard's logic we'd probably have 600 dead if everyone stood their ground instead of running for cover."
The King of Instagram then started slamming the media, before adding: "They publish some f****** guy's account, sitting behind a laptop, typing, trying to get his five minutes of fame.
"He's there blogging about me while I'm f****** delivering 8,000lbs of food and water in Vegas and going to hospitals.
"And just to be clear, the first f****** thing I did after we dropped those two girls off at the hospital was I went and got my gun and went straight f****** back there and I was there for three f****** hours."
On Thursday night, former Navy SEAL and New York Times Bestselling Author Brandon Webb defended Meyer.
"My friend @dakotameyer0317 ran towards the fight in Afghanistan and was awarded this Nations highest award for bravery and sacrifice. The #medalofhonor," he wrote, alongside a photo of Meyer.
"I would hope @danbilzerian, would have enough courage to engage him directly regarding his video running away from the Vegas shooting, as a man, rather than insult him blindly on a social media feed that has the best followers money can buy.
"I'll stand by Dakota all day long, because he is a man of character and accomplishment of his own accord. And then the haters and cowards come I'll stand back-to-back with Dakota next to the gates of Hell."
Meyer reposted the picture of himself and simply wrote: "Thanks @brandontwebb."
The veteran later added on Twitter: "Look all I was saying was I wouldn't even want @DanBilzerian to have my back in a pillow fight. #butfirstletmetakeaselfie."
Police confirmed that 58 people were killed and 489 were wounded at the mass shooting on Sunday night.
Paddock unloaded thousands of rounds on the event taking place at Las Vegas Village from a room across the street in the Mandalay Bay Hotel at 10.08pm.
Bilzerian had entered the Navy SEAL training program in 2000 but failed to graduate despite several attempts.
He was reportedly dropped from the program for a "safety violation on the shooting range".
He has also found himself in trouble with the police on numerous occasions.
On December 9, 2014, Bilzerian was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on bomb-making charges.
Those charges were dropped but he appeared in court in February 2015, where he pleaded no contest to "negligently failing to extinguish a fire in the open".
In August 2014, Bilzerian was banned from a Miami nightclub for allegedly kicking model Vanessa Castano in the face during a brawl.
Castano later filed a $1 million lawsuit against Bilzerian for her injuries.
Later that same year, Bilzerian landed himself in another legal matter when he threw porn star Janice Griffith off the roof of a house.
Griffith broke her foot when she landed on the edge of a swimming pool, as part of a Hustler photoshoot.
Bilzerian even announced a bid to run for President of the United States in 2015, but pulled out and endorsed Donald Trump later that year.
The 36-year-old, who calls himself the King of Instagram, appears to spend most of his time playing poker and posing with models.
He appears to have been at the music festival when the gunman opened fire.
The shooting broke out on the final night of the three-day Route 91 Harvest festival, a sold-out event attended by 22,000.
Officers breached Paddock's room on the 32nd floor and found him dead inside, among an "arsenal" of firearms. Lombardo said that Paddock shot himself dead.
