Nato soldier dies in crash

Nato-led troops suffered their eighth fatality since taking charge of security in southern Afghanistan last week when a car crash killed a Canadian soldier.

The soldier died and three others were hurt when their Jeep hit a civilian truck 25km south of Kandahar airport yesterday, a Nato spokesman said.
