Murdered man had soccer score on body

A man murdered in Guatemala had what appears to be a soccer score scrawled on his body.

The unidentified victim, aged about 30, had been tortured and his corpse dumped in a barrel on a busy street in Guatemala City.

He had several messages written in marker on different parts of his body, including "Guatemala 1" on his chest and "Mexico O" on his left leg.

Police believe the killers may have been predicting the outcome of a World Cup match between Guatemala and Mexico on Sunday.
