Murdered Englishman's girlfriend back in Darwin for trial

Joanne Lees, 32, has returned to Darwin for the trial into the death four years ago of her 28-year-old boyfriend, Peter Falconio.


She is expected to be one of the first witnesses to take the stand on Monday.


Bradley John Murdoch, 47, is accused of murdering the Englishman beside a lonely Outback highway.


He is also accused of assaulting Lees and depriving her of liberty.
