Mum won't leave son

A Georgia-based Army cook and single mother could face criminal charges after she refused to deploy to Afghanistan, saying no one could care for her 10-month-old son.

Specialist Alexis Hutchinson, 21, remained confined to the Army post yesterday while her case is investigated. Her mother was to care for the child but couldn't as she was caring for other relatives.
