Muhammad video sparks outcry

A video in Denmark lampooning the Prophet Muhammad has angered groups in Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim-majority nation.

Denmark's national TV2 channel broadcast parts of the video, made by members of the far-right Danish Peoples Party, on Saturday, showing Muhammad as a beer-drinking camel and as a drunken terrorist.

"In Islam, death is the penalty for insulting the Prophet Muhammad ... except if the doer regrets his deed and promises not to repeat it," said Fausan Al Ansori, a spokesman for the hardline Indonesian Mujahideen Council.
