Mugabe in denial

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe denied yesterday that his crackdown on illegal shantytowns had made hundreds of thousands of people homeless.

"Where are they? We don't know about those. It's just nonsense," Mugabe said, in response to a journalist's question about the campaign.
