President Robert Mugabe's Government has banned another independent newspaper, the weekly Tribune, bringing to three the number of national privately owned newspapers closed by the Mugabe regime in less than a year.
The Tribune had been bought by a Zanu-PF legislator and former journalist, Kindness Paradza, but it had fast established a reputation for condemning human rights abuses in Zimbabwe.
