A woman tried to kill a British MP in revenge for the Iraq war, the Old Bailey heard.
Roshonara Choudhry, 21, stabbed Labour's Stephen Timms twice in the stomach during a constituency meeting in May this year as "punishment" because he voted for the invasion of Iraq.
Choudhry is accused of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Timms has since fully recovered.
