A young mother crushed by a pallet of bricks that fell from 20m died in hospital two days later, it has been revealed.
Michaela Boor, 29, from east London, was left unconscious on the footpath in Mile End surrounded by piles of rubble on Tuesday morning.
She was understood to have dropped her son off at school across the road from the building site when bricks fell from scaffolding above.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "A 29-year-old woman who was critically injured after being struck by falling debris in Tower Hamlets has died.
