Thirty-three people have died in Siberia after drinking homemade alcohol containing a toxic substance.
Interfax news agency said the victims from Magadan region, mostly men between 45 and 60, died after consuming methanol - normally used as fuel - in tainted drinks.
Four women have been charged with illegally producing and selling alcohol.
