Bosnian Serb military leader Ratko Mladic is being protected by the Army of Serbia and Montenegro to shelter him from war crimes charges in The Hague, a former Serbian officer claimed yesterday.
According to former Army sergeant Miroslav D. Petrovic, the general spent some months last year in Belgrade under military protection. The Army even held a meeting on improving his security last June.
