Japan's gaffe-prone Government is mired in fresh controversy after its outspoken foreign minister Taro Aso made a quip about Alzheimer's sufferers when addressing a group which included many senior citizens.
"Even someone with Alzheimer's can tell whether 78,000 yen or 16,000 yen is worth more," Aso told the crowd when referring to rice prices.
