The family of a woman who was dragged about 700m by a minibus taxi intends laying a charge of attempted murder against its driver.
Kim McCusker, 25, was knocked down at a four-way stop at the corner of Lonehill Boulevard and Concourse Cres in Sandton, Johannesburg, after an argument between the driver and her fiance, Lawrence Grobler.
McCusker, who is in a serious condition in hospital, was conscious throughout the ordeal. Her family were said to be in shock and focused on her recovery.
A trail of blood starts several metres from the point of impact to where the taxi was finally stopped.
