All eyes are on Donald Trump's marriage after Stormy Daniels' latest interview.
The adult film star, who was paid US$130,000 ($180,000) in hush money by Trump's lawyer to keep quiet about their 2006 affair, gave a tell-all interview this week to CNN's Anderson Cooper.
She confirmed their flirtatious exchanges went on while Trump was married to Melania, before they eventually had sex in Trump's hotel suite.
Essential Consultants, a firm owned by Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen is now reportedly seeking US$20 million ($27.7m) in damages from Daniels, claiming the porn actor violated a non-disclosure agreement by speaking publicly about the alleged affair.
Stephanie Grisham, a spokesman for the First Lady, said the 47-year-old was "focused on being a mum and is quite enjoying spring break at Mar-a-Lago while working on future projects".
But a source told Us Weekly that Trump is horrified that "all eyes are on her relationship with her husband". "It's not an easy time for her," the source said.
Another family insider added: "She is very, very unhappy with her life. If she could, she would get away from Donald and just be with her son."
Fleeting insights into the pair's relationship have gone viral since he became President, including a shot of her dropping her smile the second his back was turned.
This month, images surfaced of a seemingly tender moment between husband and wife.
But rather than a spontaneous hug as they headed across the lawn, it turned out Trump was saving his wife from taking a massive stumble.
Meanwhile, Trump's long-time friend Howard Stern has bluntly told him to give up the top job.
Speaking on his Sirius XM radio show this week, Stern said he was offended that Trump had not asked him for advice recently.
"He's never once called me and asked for advice," Stern said. "Which kind of got me a little upset.
"My advice would be, like, get the f**k out of there, man. Why do you need that for? Go back to Mar-a-Lago and hang.
"Just give it over to [Mike] Pence," he added. "Let him do his thing."
It's a long way from the infamous 1999 interview between Stern, Trump and his then-girlfriend Melania, which has been making the rounds on social media after Daniels' tell-all interview.
Stern even begged Trump to have sex with Melania on air to increase his ratings.
The whole time, Trump was laughing and appearing to endorse Stern's creepy questions.
"Oh man, she's naked there, isn't she?" Stern asked, when Trump returned to the phone.
"She is actually naked," he responded. "It's a thing of beauty."
The White House has repeatedly denied that Trump had an affair, saying "the President strongly, clearly and has consistently denied these underlying claims".
Trump is yet to address the claims directly, but he did post a vague tweet about "fake news" shortly after the interview aired in the US.
