An armed gang boarded a luxury yacht off a Mediterranean island, overpowered crew and guests and made off with E$292,000 from its safe, officials said.
The yacht, with German financiers on board, was off the French island of Corsica.
It was the first time such a security breach has occurred in French waters, officials said.
