Marxists quit Sri Lanka Govt over tsunami aid

A government plan to share tsunami relief aid with separatist Tamil rebels drove a Marxist party from Sri Lanka's governing coalition yesterday.

The decision by the Peoples Liberation Front to pull out of the coalition leaves the Government without a majority in Parliament.
