A man with a New Zealand accent threatened a Queensland adult store worker with a knife and demanded cash in a robbery overnight, police say.
Queensland police have launched an investigation after the robbery on Grand Plaza Drive in Brown Plains, south of Brisbane, about 9.10pm local time yesterday.
The man with a knife demanded money from the till at the adult store. A woman worker complied and the man fled with a sum of cash.
Queensland police said no one was injured during the incident.
They have described the offender as a heavily-built man with a New Zealand accent, about 1.75m tall. He was wearing a balaclava and a dark jumper.
