MADRID, Spain - A man in his 30s was gored to death during a bull run in the eastern Spanish town of Massamagrell reports Independent Online.
A bull knocked the man to the ground and struck him with a horn in the man's stomach and thigh, piercing an artery, said News24.com.
The event took place on Saturday night (local time).
The online media site reports that a spokesperson for the local municipality said the injured man was taken to hospital where he died while undergoing surgery to treat his injuries.
Massamagrell interrupted its annual festival in a sign of mourning report news media.
In July, a 27-year-old man was killed after he was gored in the neck during the annual running of the bulls event, held in Pamploma as part of the San Fermin festival.
