Brighton- A British man died in front of his 13-year-old daughter after going into the sea to rescue his two Jack Russells on the Brighton seafront.
A coastguard spokesman said the man went in first to try to help the dogs but appeared to have fallen and hit his head on a groyne - a barrier stretching out to sea from the beach. The teenager then went into the water but was quickly rescued in the rough seas. One of the dogs has been found. The other is missing.
