A young Melbourne man has described his horrific injuries after being attacked by a group of thugs in a carjacking last month.
Pesa Mosafa, 21, was set upon by 20 people, stabbed six times, beaten and kicked during the violent attack at Cranbourne, in the city's southeast.
Mosafa was standing next to his car, eating at the intersection of Stawell St and Cranbourne Dr when the ambush took place at 1.30am on January 7.
He says he is lucky to be alive.
"I am so lucky to be standing here," he told Seven News. "I just wanted to survive."
