Lottery frenzy in Italy

The record jackpot for Italy's state lottery rose to €119 million ($254.9 million) thwarting those hoping to get the winning six-number combination.

Millions of tickets have been sold over the past few weeks as lottery frenzy grips Italy and neighbouring countries.

No one has hit the jackpot since January.
