Lesbian teen wins suit

A Mississippi teenager who was prevented from attending her high school ball with her girlfriend has settled a suit against her school district.

The Itawamba County school district will pay Constance McMillen US$35,000 ($47,500). McMillen has moved to Memphis, Tennessee.
