RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) Saudi Arabia's official news agency says King Abdullah is meeting the president of Lebanon to discuss regional issues.
Lebanon has been unable to form a government because of divisions over the civil war in neighboring Syria.
Both President Michel Suleiman and former Prime Minister Saad Hariri took part in the talks, the agency said. Lebanon's political crisis has left the country without a government for seven months, as its two largest political blocs support opposite sides in the fight between Syrian President Bashar Assad's forces and rebels.
Saudi Arabia is a backer of the Lebanese March 14 coalition, a rival to the Iranian-backed militant Hezbollah group and its allies in Lebanon.
