Last-ditch effort for Australian on death row

A Victorian lawmaker who branded the pending execution of a Melbourne heroin trafficker "a barbaric act," has flown to Singapore to try to save the man's life.


Attorney-General Rob Hulls planned to meet Justice Minister Ho Peng Kee today to plea for Nguyen Tuong Van, who is due to die on December 2.
