WASHINGTON - A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck deep under the ocean northeast of Fiji, the US Geological Survey said today.
The quake struck 255km off Fiji's Ndoi Island in the Pacific Ocean at a depth of 407.8km at 8.52am local time on Tuesday (9.52am NZT), the USGS said.
