MUZAFFARABAD, Pakistan - A landslide triggered by heavy rains killed eight people, including three women and three children, in Pakistan-administered Kashmir today, police said.
The landslide hit a house in Dharray Jabray village, about 90km south of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistani Kashmir, which was devastated by a 7.6-magnitude earthquake in 2005.
Police officer, Mushtaq Ahmed, told Reuters that villagers had recovered the eight dead and three injured people. Two people were still stranded under the debris, he said.
