A British tribunal has recognised for the first time that a former soldier suffered Gulf War Syndrome and should receive an invalidity pension.
Daniel Martin, 35, suffers from a variety of illnesses including joint pain, poor concentration and memory, asthma and chronic fatigue.
The Pensions Appeal Tribunal found Gulf War Syndrome was the "appropriate label" for his illness.
Martin's lawyer said the "landmark ruling" would have "massive implications for veterans".
