Kovco family briefed

The family of Australian soldier Jake Kovco, who was shot dead with his own gun in Iraq, were briefed yesterday on a report about the bungled return of his body. Australian Defence Force counsellors visited his widow, Shelley, and his parents Judy and Martin Kovco.

A draft of the report came into the hands of Melbourne broadcaster Derryn Hinch last week after it was found in an airport lounge.
