The third group of Australian and New Zealand troops to train members of the Iraqi military for the fight against Isis have finished their six-month tour.
Colonel Andrew Lowe, outgoing Commander of Task Group Taji 3, said the men and women of the task group had trained some 9000 Iraqi soldiers.
He formally handed over responsibility for the mission to incoming Commander Task Group Taji Rotation 4 Colonel Richard Vagg at a parade at the Taji military complex near Baghdad last Thursday.
Iraqi troops are involved in a major battle to remove Isis (Islamic State) fighters from Mosul.
