New South Wales police are reportedly investigating convicted killer Simon Gittany over business dealings with two methylamphetamine producers.
Gittany was on Wednesday found guilty of murdering his fiancee, Lisa Cecelia Harnum, by throwing her off their high-rise apartment balcony in a fit of uncontrollable rage.
News Corp Australia has reported that a series of payments between convicted drug dealer Gittany and two others are being investigated.
With the trial before Justice Lucy McCallum alone over, several news outlets have published details of Gittany's violent criminal history.
The most graphic was revelations of how Gittany, then a 20-year-old, partially bit off a police officer's ear while trying to evade arrest in 1994.
