An American who was detained in Pakistan while on a solo mission to kill Osama bin Laden had been moved to the capital city of Islamabad and would soon get dialysis for his failing kidneys, a family spokesman said yesterday.
Gary Brooks Faulkner, a 50-year-old construction worker from Colorado nicknamed Rambo, was detained in northern Pakistan.
Police say he had a pistol, a sword, night-vision equipment and other gear and claimed he was out to kill the al Qaeda leader.
