One minute you're driving along the road. The next you have a six-foot (1.83-metre) grey kangaroo sitting beside you.
The 120-kilogram kangaroo smashed through a car windscreen and straight into the front passenger seat as a man drove along a suburban Melbourne street.
Not surprisingly, the driver hurried out of the car, leaving behind a bewildered roo.
Ambulance crews called to a car accident at Wantirna in Melbourne's east on Thursday night helped the man before getting a shock when they went to his car, intensive care paramedic Gary Becker said.
"That's where we found this large grey kangaroo sitting in the front passenger seat just looking around quite stunned, I think he was wondering what has happened," Mr Becker said.
