KEY POINTS:
Pakistan's Government has prepared new misconduct charges against suspended Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, which are related to affidavits filed in the Supreme Court by President Pervez Musharraf's chief of staff and two top intelligence officials.
They allege Chaudhry asked spy chiefs to keep tabs on other lawyers and wanted Musharraf to dissolve Parliament and make him head of an interim administration overseeing elections.
