Jude Law's two-year-old daughter eats ecstasy tablet

The two-year-old daughter of film stars Jude Law and Sadie Frost was yesterday rushed to hospital after swallowing part of an ecstasy tablet.

Iris Law was attending a children's party at an exclusive club in London's West End.

It is believed the toddler picked the tablet up off the floor of the club which had been used as a bar and night club the previous Friday. Frost spotted her daughter chewing something and managed to retrieve half of the tablet out of her mouth before it was swallowed.

An ambulance took the child to hospital where she had her stomach pumped and underwent a brain scan the Sun newspaper said today. She was kept in hospital for observation overnight before being released.

Law is currently filming in the US.

Police are investigating whether the club was at fault.
