The rescue of prisoner of war Jessica Lynch in Iraq this month will soon be filmed, says Hollywood's trade paper.
NBC television plans a two-hour movie on the 19-year-old private's rescue from an Iraqi hospital after her convoy was ambushed.
"This story is Mission: Impossible, but it's real," an NBC source told Daily Variety.
"It's as good a story as you can get from this war ... uplifting, heroic, compelling and dramatic."
It is expected to screen between September and next March.
